When you sit and meditate and your mind wanders, just bring your attention back to your point of focus. There is no shame in a wandering mind. Life is a long, long, path. You will be distracted millions upon millions of times. If you notice your mind wandering in meditation, noticing that wandering is as present as you can be. It is a triumphant moment. Continue your meditation in dignity. Return your attention to your center. Breathe. It is wonderful that you meditate.
