Love and Zen are not two separate things. When you sit in meditation, you sit in love. Love is available to everybody all the time. Practicing love brings about happiness and puts an end to suffering. When we feel disconnected from the world we feel disconnected from love. When we are full of love, we see it everywhere. Compassion is love gravitating toward pain.
Everybody in the world understands love. Zen is understood by only a few. So if you would like to understand Zen, just practice love all the time. Notice that love is sitting on the point of your attention, wherever it goes. Look for it there.
